Sons of Scotland! Unfurl your tartan for the return of Team Scotland in their 6th appearance at the Newport International Polo Series. The Scots have left their golf clubs at home and come kitted out with kilts, polo mallets, and a record to defend: at their last Newport appearance in 2019, Scotland bested Team USA 12-9. As the Scots channel their inner William Wallace and the Americas ready for a savage onslaught, both teams will be out for blood to decide who takes home the silver.
Since their debut in 2004, the Scottish team has always arrived on Newport’s shores with polish, poise and a wee bit of mischief, and matches against Scotland have always brought epic fun. The infusion of Scottish culture will draw crowds of bravehearts from across the lands. Enjoy a cold bru at the polo pub—and maybe some Haggis!—with our kin from overseas and celebrate one…
