Elevate Your Occasion with Custom Engraved Wine and Appetizer Plates

Enhance any event with our wine and appetizer plates, expertly engraved with your custom imagery. These plates make the perfect gift or party favor.

To get started, send us your logo, photograph, or select an image from our collection to be laser engraved on the plates to charles@sakonnetrivercompany.com. A minimum order of two plates is required.

Handcrafted in Rhode Island, USA, the Plate is finished with a Food Safe and Maintenance Free coating.

Select from our range of plates designed for either right-handed or left-handed use. Our left-handed plates are intended to be held in the right hand, allowing for the left hand to remain free for other tasks.

Pricing and Selection Process:

Select Size: Choose from Club, Bistro, Gala, or Pocket.
Select Material: We recommend selecting Cherry or Maple for engraving, as these woods provide a clearer and more precise image. Engraved images tend to be less visible on Mahogany, Oak, and Walnut.
Handedness Preference: Indicate the number of plates for right-handed and left-handed users. Trays are designed to be held in the non-dominant hand.
Special Instructions: Add any special instructions in the provided section, but email all images.
Quantity: Enter the desired number of sets (minimum of 2 plates). For a single tray, an additional Single Plate Format Fee applies.

Send Details: Email your text, image, instructions, and contact information to charles@sakonnetrivercompany.com with "Custom Order" as the subject line.

We will provide a mock-up photo of the engraved tray for your approval. Production begins after approval and takes approximately three weeks. For orders of 12 or more plates, please allow 4 to 5 weeks.

The laser engraving process includes sanding and coating the plates twice after engraving, followed by a week of curing after the final sanding and finish.

About our Wood Options:

Cherry

Crafted from 100% solid Cherry wood, this Plate features a warm, reddish tint that showcases its natural grains in wave-like patterns beneath a smooth finish. The Cherry wood provides an elegant presentation for Grenache, Chardonnay, Quiche, Croissants, French Roast, Camomile, Sorbet, and Grey Goose. Drawing inspiration from Cap D'Antibes, this Plate is a testament to sophistication and style, perfect for enhancing the presentation of your culinary creations.

Maple

Crafted from 100% solid Maple wood, this Plate features a light, creamy palette with subtle caramel-colored grains that highlight the colors of the Gamay grape, Pinot Grigio, Hot Dog, Taco, Sliced Gyro, Nachos, 16 ounce Narragansett, Ice Tea, Ice Coffee, Donuts, and Pina Colada.

to keep this Modern Heirloom looking sharp and you will enjoy it for years, even decades, to come. Not suitable for the dishwasher, microwave, or carving.

The water proof and food safe varnish has been used on wooden bowls and kitchen utensils for decades. The surface is smooth, soft, glossy and impermeable and does not watermark or turn white. You do not need to reapply varnish to it.
For clients who order Original (non-engraved) Plates, returns are accepted within 5 days of delivery, and a refund will be issued upon return.

Engraved Design and Sakonnet Collection Plates are not eligible for refunds once the Photo-Mockup has been approved and crafting has begun.

Please note that Plates warped due to automated dishwashing, drying, or similar mishandling will not be replaced.
Shipping:

Original (non-engraved) Plates are typically ready to ship within 2 weeks of placing your order. If they are in inventory, they will be sent within 3 business days.

Engraved Design and Sakonnet Collection Plates are crafted after the order is booked and the Photo-Mockup is approved. We generally ship these Plates within 3 weeks following your approval.

Please note, orders placed in June, July, October, and November may take up to 4 weeks to ship due to high sales volume.

Packaging:

If you order 1 or 2 Plates, your order will arrive in a white box featuring The Sakonnet River Company logo. Each box contains the 1 or 2 Wine Plates, each in an individual slip cover, making them easy to gift-wrap.

For orders of 3 or more Plates, we will ship them in a larger package, which may also be gift-wrapped for your convenience.
Our "right-handed" plates are designed for right-handed individuals to hold with their left hand.

Right-Handed Plate: Meant for right-handers.

Holding Position: Right-handers should hold the plate in their left hand.

Our "left-handed" plates are designed for left-handed individuals to hold with their right hand.

Left-Handed Plate: Meant for left-handers.
